The Bartimaeus Trilogy

I just finished reading my favorite set of books of all time. The Bartimaeus Trilogy. These books are great. They are better than the Harry Potter books, but I don't think they are as good as the Eragon books. The first two books are about how this young magician steals two powerful, magic artifacts for the British government. The third book is how the magician uses those two artifacts to save the world. The third book has a great ending but you will just have to read the books to find out. (Note: The books are a little hard to get into, but when you do they are great.)

KFC: Our Daily Chicken

A salesman from KFC walked up to the Pope and offers him a million dollars if he would change "The Lord's Prayer" from "give us this day our daily bread" to "give us this day our daily chicken." The Pope refused his offer. Twilight Princess

Probably the best game ever. One of the first games to come out on the Wii and the last for the Gamecube. This game has awesome graphics, a great storyline, and it has tons of little side-quests and mini games. The music is sweet also. It is also the same price as it was 2 years ago. That shows how great it is. It is a action-adventure game but also has puzzles. After you beat the game there is also way more that you can do.

The New DS Hyper!!!!

When I first saw this I was amazed. Nintendo was creative before but with the New DS Hyper, they really went over the top. Complete with a rocket, saw, and I think a machine gun, this new handheld gamesystem is everything anyone ever would want. It also comes with every button and gizmos from everything Nintendo!!!

Now I have a funny story about this one. I was on Microsoft Word typing something or other and this wizard comes up with his daily helpful writing hint and tips. So it says You can hurt yourself if you run with scissors. I then said to myself, that really is a helpful hint. Just not for writing.

Last Day Of School!!

Its the last day of school. I cant believe it! It is 9 min before school starts and today my schedule consists of either watching movies in class or taking tests. The only bad part is that this day is going to take about 3 months. and taking the tests. Christmas is so close. I can't wait!!

On Tuesday July 31 we got back from the Moose Hollow Lodge. It was great. It had 3 floors, on the the top floor there are two rooms. On the middle floor it had a big kitchen, a sitting area and four bedrooms. There were also two jacuzzis(they were on the deck). In the basement there was an arcade with a pool table, a air hockey table and four game stations. Downstairs there was also a small kitchen, a sitting area, a treadmill, three bedrooms, a laundry room, and a movie theater. The lodge was so awesome. We also saw a black bear, and two deer while on a hike. Overall it was a great trip.

New Toy

Today I recieved in the mail a new mechanical device..... The Mattel Hyperscan!!!!

For those who are scratching their head and thinking what the heck is a hyperscan, the hyperscan is a game console....like X-Box.....Gamecube.......those Plug-N-Play things....you get the idea.

It all started Tuesday, June 12 when I was at the library on ebay looking up the hyperscan, when there it was.... It said in big bold print Mattel Hyperscan, 99 cents. I almost started crying. So I rushed home and made my mom get on ebay and buy it. Then we got the price. Hyperscan, 99 cents. Shipping, 14 dollars. I'm still paying it off.

But it's cool.

My computer did it again.

Every time I try to download something off the Internet it either freezes or says Juno is disconnecting (I have dial up). I was trying to download Joke Police(you can watch it from a link in My Favorite Links).

Even if I could have been able to download it it would take 2 hours or something like that. And its a 2 minute video. You can watch it without downloading it though.... But my computers to slow. The video is hilarious though so I will keep trying.

Sigh..... What have I done to deserve this.

Pirates and Spidey

The new Pirates movie was so cool! The special effects were great and there were some great actors. It was better than the 2nd one but the 1st one was better. I wonder if there is going to be a 4th one?????

The new Spiderman movie was awesome!!! It was much better than the new Pirates movie because Spidey had the Sandman in it and the Sandman is the coolest. Also it had the new Green Goblin and Venom in it and they are cool also. In Pirates, Davy Jones kept saying "Do you feel dead" and that got old really fast.

But they are both great movies.

First Day Of Summer Vacation

If this day will be anything like the rest of the summer, then I quit.

I woke up to James and Beth sneaking in my room. I think "what are they doing here" and then they stick the dog in my bed and run out of my bedroom. So I fall back asleep and I awaken to a loud hammering noise. So I get out of bed and walk dwnstairs, dog in hand, wondering what the heck is going on. And what to my wondering eyes should I see, James and Beth are outside hammering nails into blocks of wood.

I call out to them, "Will you guys please stop that, it is very annoying and people are trying to sleep!!!" So they smile sweetly sweetly at me and keep hammering away at those poor pieces of wood. Seeing that I am not going to get back to sleep, I sit down and start watching my morning cartoons.

Oh, gee whiz, just thinking about it gives me the chills. If you need me I will be sleeping. Let you all have a better morning then the one I woke up to.
