This book literally was the absolute perfect read for me and came at just the right time. What is most important about this book is how it localizes and simplifies what many think of as a big nebulous concept of "brand" and makes you think about how it applies on an individual level. I appreciated him presenting how his work and understanding evolved over the course of his career.In a more sensible world, Samuel Milham would be a household name and he would get a Nobel prize for his work. Policymakers would give top priority to ensuring that our methods for generating and using electricity were as safe as they practically could be. In our current world, government and industry leaders ignore the risks related to EMF's as much as possible and plow ahead with increasing our exposure. They show no concern for its impact to human health and how poor health is bankrupting our country. After reading about the problem, Milham volunteered to assist in tracking down the cause at the school, but he was rebuffed by the deputy superintendent. Later, however, he was invited in by a teacher during a period when the school was closed and, using a simple microsurge meter, he discovered dirty electricity levels that were off the charts.Dirty electricity is a term for microsurges and noise riding on the standard electrical waveform. It can be caused by electrical appliances and devices, fluorescent bulbs, and many other issues. I'm grateful for this information.

When I finally bought this book, I was expecting a book full of useful electrical information that I can use to reduce bad electricity and electro-mag-wave stuff from my environment. There were only a couple of useful paragraphs about the hands-on how to stuff, but even then it was only introductory, basic, broad facts. I am very disappointed, this is basically an autobiography about his free medical education and how he moved on through life. A glorified auto-biography. No nitty-gritty technical information that I was expecting. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Look elsewhere if you want a how-to manual on dealing with dirty electricity and electro magnetic waves and such.

At first I wasn't getting him. Then a light bulb went off (really bad choice of words, I know...) when I realized that if disease is preventable then you don't really need a cure at all. If skateboarding on the interstate was the cause of several kids suffering from broken bones then would you try and develop a miracle 'cure' for the busted bones or would you simply sit them down and say "STAY OFF OF THE HIGHWAY YOU MORON"? You get the idea.Read this book and ZAPPED and save yourself and your family.In just 2 weeks my massive, four alarm, Robin-Williams-grade ADHD symptoms have started to subside w/o medication. If dirty electricity isn't real then I suppose ADHD isn't real either. Trust me, ADHD is real, just ask any one of my friends.Again, read this book and ZAPPED and save yourself and your family.

I bought this book for my 12 year old grandson, however I was so interesting, I and my wife read it before I could get it my grandson. I ended up buying another one for him. I didn't wantto give him a used, well read book.

What an AMAZING collection of facts and trivia not found anywhere else. I simply cannot say enough about this collection and the variety of subjects. The 1st day I had it I couldnt put it down, read almost half of the book in 1 night!Thank You Mr. Reichblum for putting this together, a job better than well done sir!

As a family, we are ALL enjoying this book and its stunning info. Fun as a Party Game too. We are all learning from this book. So glad I purchased it.

What you expect: A collection of facts very loosely organized. Some are pretty original.

Not as good as Uncle John's Bathroom Readers.

I think this is a very good book. I heard an interview on the radio (Coast to Coast) with the author Charles Reichblum and he sold me on buying it. I am very glad I bought it. I found out a lot of things I didn't know before now from his book.Â

In every descriptive instance, there is love and sincerity ... from the punishments to playtime ... with honesty always at the forefront.Whether you are in a DD relationship, looking to start one or just curious how one couple lives within such a loving lifestyle - this is a great read for you. I personally find real romance stories more erotic than fiction, (don't tell anyone I said that) and am confident that you will, too.

I thought this was largely good. As an introduction to 24/7 M/s lifestyle, it was very helpful. As an introduction to the question “how to approach domestic discipline,” again, very helpful, and where the book really shined was by taking on the question, “So, you think you are ready for this responsibility?” and addressing head-on, the idea that ownership is a one-way street. We don’t talk enough, in the community, about the huge responsibility involved, and I think it does a disservice to couples who think they want this.However, the book could have been shorter, by maybe 20%, and suffers from repetition, to the point of distraction. The author sometimes suffers from an inability to make their points, and build their thesis and so some of the work feels overstuffed.If you are considering this lifestyle, however, and wondering where (or how) to begin, this would be a good book to pick up.

Ms. Raymond is certainly knowledgeable in her understanding of this lifestyle; that said, the title is a bit misleading since Taken in Hand and Domestic Discipline are not necessarily interchangeable terms. We were seeking more information about the former, but got a lot more of the latter. Also, the entire last half of the book is an introduction to the 'community' surrounding this lifestyle, and frankly does not hold much value for a monogamous, exclusive couple that is looking to explore boundaries together.

Very much enjoyed the book. I appreciated the author making points throughout the book regarding consent and abuse. Sometimes that needs to be driven home.

Good (and an easy) read as an eye opener for TIH relationships. Wish Ms. Raymond had offered more examples from Her own relationship or from Others in the Lifestyle.

I found it generic, which she may have intended. Did have some interesting notes. If you are into 24/7 you may find this useful.

An educational and informative book. I'd recommend reading it if your into or curious about the lifestyle . A thumbs up
